New U.S. tariffs on Bitcoin mining machines, implemented since April 2025, could significantly reshape the global mining landscape. Affecting equipment imports from Asia with a 145% tariff rate, these regulations present challenges for U.S. miners and offer potential benefits to others.  While impacting U.S. dominance, these tariffs may cause Bitcoin’s hashrate to shift away from American operations.
