Kwon-ho Park, CEO of WEMADE, joined with Ik Hyun Kim, Secretary-General of ADRA Korea to donate a total of KRW 30 million to the National Fire Agency. This generous contribution will cover medical expenses for firefighters who responded to wildfires in the Yeongnam region. The funding was raised through an emergency fundraising campaign launched in April on Wepublic, WEMADE’s blockchain-powered transparency platform. ADRA Korea partnered with WEMADE to execute this project, with WEMADE contributing KRW 20 million and ADRA Korea adding KRW 10 million. This initiative signifies a collaborative effort between these organizations to offer timely assistance to those who risk their lives saving others.
