Braden John Karony, former CEO of crypto firm SafeMoon, has proclaimed his innocence as his criminal trial commenced this week in the Eastern District of New York. Addressing media reports on day one of court proceedings, Karony refuted accusations of fraud. He, alongside SafeMoon founder Kyle Nagy and ex-chief technology officer Thomas Smith, faces charges of securities fraud conspiracy, wire fraud conspiracy, and money laundering conspiracy stemming from alleged misuse of millions in native SFM tokens.
