EU Enforces Stricter Anti-Money Laundering Rules on Cryptocurrencies

The European Union is introducing stricter anti-money laundering regulations for cryptocurrencies, effective July 1, 2027. This new regulation will ban financial institutions from providing anonymous crypto accounts or wallets and prohibit transactions with privacy coins like Monero, Zcash, and Dash.
