Tether to Launch U.S.-Based Stablecoin by Early 2026

Tether, the company behind the popular stablecoin USDT, is planning to launch a new U.S.-based stablecoin as early as 2026, according to CEO Paolo Ardoino’s interview with CNBC. This move follows years of Tether operating globally, and emphasizes the company’s commitment to complying with US regulations.
