California Introduces Bill to Protect Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency Rights

The California State Assembly has introduced AB-1052, a landmark bill aimed at bolstering self-custody rights for Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. The legislation seeks to prevent public institutions from imposing payment restrictions on digital assets and prohibits public officials from endorsing or promoting any form of digital asset, security, or commodity.
