China Launches National AI Campaign to Combat Misuse

Phase two addresses the creation and spread of misinformation and harmful content using AI technology, targeting activities such as impersonation and online troll farms. This phase also involves removing illegal and harmful information and penalizing non-compliant accounts, multi-channel networks (MCNs), and websites.
