In a new report, Standard Chartered Bank predicts that Bitcoin (BTC) will hit an all-time high by the second quarter of 2025. According to Geoff Kendrick, Global Head of Digital Asset Research at Standard Chartered, the surge in Bitcoin’s value is due to strategic reallocation by U.S. investors away from domestic assets and increasing accumulation from whales, who are holding more than 1,000 BTC. The report emphasizes two key drivers: whale activity and ETF inflows. Kendrick explains that this trend of investors shifting funds toward Bitcoin can trigger a significant price rally. Further bolstering the outlook is the rising influx of exchange-traded fund (ETF) investments into Bitcoin, indicating increasing institutional interest in the cryptocurrency.
