SoftBank Group is joining forces with Tether and Bitfinex to capitalize on the growing cryptocurrency sector. This new collaboration, announced by sources close to the deal, aims to invest in major crypto assets like Bitcoin during this period of intense market activity. 21 Capital, a newly formed company from Cantor Equity Partners, will play a central role in this venture. The consortium is planning to invest $3 billion into Bitcoin with Tether providing $1.5 billion and SoftBank contributing an additional $900 million. Bitfinex will contribute another $600 million in crypto assets. This substantial investment is expected to unlock significant financial opportunities for the new company.
