A trio of major players in finance has entered the world of bitcoin investing: Cantor Fitzgerald, stablecoin issuer Tether, and Japanese tech giant SoftBank have joined forces to create Twenty One Capital, a new venture with a bold goal: becoming the third largest corporate holder of bitcoin globally. This company is aiming to challenge MicroStrategy’s strategy of buying vast amounts of Bitcoin, by establishing a $3.6 billion fund dedicated to the cryptocurrency.
