SoftBank Invests $3 Billion in Bitcoin for Potential SPAC Listing

Softbank, Tether, and Bitfinex are joining forces to launch a new joint venture, 21 Capital, with a $3 billion investment in Bitcoin. This venture will be publicly listed through a Special Purpose Acquisition Company (SPAC), according to reports. SoftBank is investing $900 million at an agreed-upon price of $85,000. Tether will contribute $1.5 billion, and Bitfinex, $600 million. This venture positions 21 Capital as a significant player in digital asset infrastructure with substantial backing from the partners.
