Hong Kong Police Arrest 503 in Major Fraud and Cybercrime Operation

Hong Kong law enforcement agencies launched a comprehensive operation targeting fraud, cybercrime, and money laundering from April 7 to April 17. The operation, known as ‘Mou Gong,’ resulted in the arrest of 503 individuals, with a significant portion of these arrests related to technology-related crimes. Authorities closed down a fraud center located in Tsuen Wan, arresting 11 individuals suspected of being connected to organized crime networks.
