Kazakhstan Plans National Crypto Exchange to Boost Digital Asset Regulation

Kazakhstan’s central bank is gearing up to launch a national cryptocurrency exchange, seeking to strengthen digital asset regulation and combat illicit activities. The initiative aims to reduce illegal transactions and enhance market oversight in the Central Asian nation. This move comes as Kazakhstan plans to issue stablecoins for financial stability.  The National Bank of Kazakhstan will establish this exchange, focusing on legal frameworks for cryptocurrencies. This follows a crackdown on illegal exchanges previously initiated by the government, signaling their commitment to regulatory enforcement.
