ECB Warns Trump’s Crypto Support Could Trigger Financial Disruption in Europe

The European Central Bank (ECB) has expressed concern that the recent endorsement of cryptocurrency by US President Donald Trump could disrupt the stability of European financial systems. The ECB fears a wave of dollar-backed stablecoins from the US, which they believe poses significant risk to the EU economy, despite its own robust framework for crypto regulation, MiCA.
