Turkish Crypto Users Face Identity Verification Deadline, April 25

A new regulation impacting Turkish cryptocurrency users comes into effect on April 25th. The Financial Crimes Investigation Board (MASAK) will require all exchanges to verify user identities in a move to combat money laundering and terrorism financing. This process necessitates users submitting their documents for identity verification, including a selfie photo, profession, and address information. Failure to comply by April 25th may result in temporary restrictions on account access.
