The Ethereum Foundation is prioritizing user experience and scalability improvements in light of recent leadership changes. Cointelegraph reports that the organization’s focus has shifted away from day-to-day operational tasks to address these crucial areas, allowing Vitalik Buterin, co-founder of Ethereum, more time for research and development. This shift comes after his resignation as head of daily operations on March 1st, which was followed by Hsiao-Wei Wang and Tomasz Stańczak taking on the roles of co-directors on March 17th. These changes will free Buterin to focus on long-term projects aimed at enhancing Ethereum’s privacy and performance. Buterin has initiated several initiatives, including a proposed roadmap for enhanced privacy in transactions, as well as modifications to contract language within the Ethereum Virtual Machine to increase its efficiency and speed.
