Santander Bank Defeated in $751K Cryptocurrency Fraud Lawsuit

After a two-year legal battle, a court has ruled in favor of Santander Bank regarding the lawsuit filed by Lourenco Garcia over a $751,000 cryptocurrency fraud. The court found that the bank was not legally obligated to intervene or warn against the transactions, even if they appeared risky, based on their customer agreement which only requires intervention upon suspected fraud.
