Nigeria’s Telecom Subscriber Base Reaches 175 Million

Nigeria’s telecommunications industry experienced robust subscriber growth in the third quarter of 2025, according to data from the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC). Active telephone subscriptions climbed to an impressive 175.08 million in October 2025, marking a gain of 1.5 million compared to September. The surge was driven by strong gains across all major mobile network operators.
