The Ethereum network has experienced a significant boost in efficiency with the activation of the Fusaka upgrade. This second major update of 2023 promises to enhance scalability and pave the way for increased transaction speeds. The upgrade has already begun impacting market dynamics, with noticeable increases in trading volume and price signaling positive reception from the cryptocurrency community. The Fusaka upgrade introduces a new data handling system, PeerDAS, which significantly reduces storage and bandwidth requirements by allowing nodes to store only a portion of data (blobs).
