Crypto Investor Gives Record $12 Million to Reform UK Party

A record-breaking donation of £9 million ($12 million), from early cryptocurrency investor Christopher Harborne, has been made to the Reform UK political party. This is now the largest single donation from a living person in British history and comes just months before local elections scheduled for May. The donation was revealed by the Electoral Commission on Thursday. Harborne’s previous donations include support for both Conservative campaigns during Boris Johnson’s tenure, as well as to the Brexit Party under Nigel Farage.
