Citadel Calls for SEC Regulation of DeFi Trading Tokenized Stocks

Wall Street titan Citadel Securities has urged the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to impose stricter oversight on Decentralized Finance (DeFi) platforms that offer tokenized versions of U.S. stocks. The call, initially a routine regulatory comment, escalated into a heated debate between established financial institutions and crypto innovators, leaving many questions unanswered.
