Connecticut Issues Cease & Desist Orders Over Alleged Illegal Sports Betting

Connecticut authorities have taken action against three major players in the digital financial space: Kalshi, Robinhood, and Crypto.com. The state has issued cease and desist orders due to concerns about the companies’ operation of unauthorized online gambling, specifically sports betting platforms, within its borders.
