Charles Schwab to Launch Spot Trading for Bitcoin and Ethereum in 2026 – Threat to Crypto Exchanges Looms

Financial giant Charles Schwab has announced plans to enter the cryptocurrency market by launching spot trading for Bitcoin and Ethereum in the first half of 2026. CEO Rick Wurster stated that the company will initially focus solely on these two assets before offering their crypto trading services to a wider investor base.
