The crypto market experienced a surge of mergers and acquisitions (M&A) activity in 2025, reaching an all-time high of $8.6 billion. This marked a record year for both the number of deals (133) and their total value. Bloomberg reports, citing Pitchbook data, that this figure surpassed the combined total from the previous four years.
