A significant amount of crypto assets were liquidated across the market within the past 24 hours, according to data compiled by ChainCatcher and Coinglass. The total value lost through liquidations reached $482 million. Notably, long positions accounted for a substantial portion of the losses, totaling $75.8192 million, while short positions contributed another $406 million in losses. Bitcoin saw significant liquidation events with long positions losing $16.636 million and short positions at $221 million. Ethereum experienced similar trends, with long positions liquidating $14.4346 million and short positions at $83.0568 million. Furthermore, 122,348 individuals globally experienced losses from these liquidations.
