Web3 Phishing Scams See Major Surge in November, Report Shows Increased Financial Losses

A recent report by Scam Sniffer reveals a concerning rise in financial losses associated with Web3 phishing scams during November 2025. The report states that victims suffered approximately $7.77 million in losses, representing a staggering 137% increase compared to October. Despite this surge, the number of impacted individuals decreased by about 42%, totaling 6,344 people. However, the report highlights a surprising trend: While the frequency of attacks decreased, the financial impact per victim surged dramatically. Notably, the highest individual loss reached $1.22 million in connection with permission signatures.
