Kalshi, a prediction market platform that enables betting on events and outcomes, has secured a $1 billion funding round at a valuation of $11 billion. This latest funding follows record-breaking monthly trading volumes in November, driven by the increasing popularity of prediction markets and integrations with other platforms. The investment was led by Paradigm, with participation from prominent crypto venture firms such as Sequoia, Andreessen Horowitz, and ARK Invest.
