Ether.fi has launched a referral program designed to incentivize user growth and engagement. The crypto-native credit card issuer is offering 10% cashback on all transactions for both the referrer and the referred user, with top referrers earning a VIP Gold card after reaching a milestone of over 10 referrals. This initiative commenced on December 1st and runs through December 10th. Users will receive 10% cashback rewards on all spending if they actively refer others. Referrals who successfully bring in more than 10 new users will be awarded a 12-month VIP Gold card along with their already earned 10% cashback bonus. Users can also enjoy exclusive perks by creating a profile, including club membership benefits and a crypto-powered credit card and personalized financial services. However, business profiles created under the platform’s rules are ineligible for rewards. To qualify for the program, users must create accounts through referral links between December 1st to December 10th. The campaign has an allocated spending limit of $200,000, and once this limit is reached, Ether.fi may adjust or halt it even if the campaign window remains open. To participate in this program, users must complete KYC verification. Rewards will be distributed by January 31st, 2026, subject to adjustments based on risk policies. Users should note that returned purchases and refunds will reduce their eligible spending. Cash advances, ATM withdrawals, and similar financial transactions may not count towards the cashback. Ether.fi has reported attracting $2.21 million in the first 24 hours of the program, a testament to the strategy’s effectiveness in driving new user growth, while competing with established players such as Coinbase, Gemini, and Crypto.com. The platform is bridging traditional finance and decentralized finance (DeFi) by enabling users to make purchases using Visa-powered crypto cards on its secure and decentralized platform. Ether.fi introduced one-click deposits for cross-chain vaults through a strategic partnership with LayerZero and Stargate in July 2023, further solidifying its position as a leader in the cryptocurrency industry.
