European Authorities Seize €25M in Bitcoin After Cryptomixer takedown

Law enforcement agencies across Europe dismantled a controversial cryptocurrency mixing service called Cryptomixer, seizing over $30 million worth of Bitcoin. The operation, coordinated by Europol and involving Swiss and German authorities, targeted the platform on both the dark web and clear web for facilitating illicit activities such as money laundering and cybercrime. The takedown resulted in the confiscation of 12 terabytes of data and an estimated €25 million in bitcoin.
