DeFi Ecosystem Sees Major Decline in Value Locked

Recent data from DeFiLlama reveals a significant downturn in the value locked within the decentralized finance (DeFi) ecosystem. Following a peak of nearly $172 billion in early October 2025, TVL has experienced a substantial drop of $57.7 billion, settling at approximately $114.26 billion. This represents a dramatic decline of around 34%.
