Dunamu Founders Agree to Sell Company to Naver’s Fintech Venture

South Korea’s Dunamu Inc., the largest cryptocurrency exchange, has announced a sale to Naver Corp.’s fintech division. Founders Song Chi-hyung and Kim Hyoung-nyon have agreed to the all-stock transaction. The deal was finalized last week, with Song Chi-hyung receiving a 19% stake in the merged entity valued at $2.7 billion, while Kim Hyoung-nyon secured a 10% stake worth $1.4 billion. This significant transaction positions both founders among the world’s wealthiest individuals.
