Ripple President Celebrates Expansion of MPI License in Singapore

Monica Long, Ripple’s President, has expressed delight regarding the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS)’s recent expansion of Ripple’s Major Payment Institution (MPI) license scope. This move is seen as a significant victory for both Ripple and its expanding customer base, which now includes banks and fintech companies. Long highlighted that this expanded access will enable Ripple to provide more payment services in Singapore, including cross-border transactions, and support digital payment tokens such as XRP and RLUSD.
