KiloEx Proposes Deal to Hacker After Cross-Chain Attack

Decentralized cryptocurrency exchange KiloEx has made a direct offer to the hacker responsible for stealing $7.4 million in funds following a cross-chain attack. The platform, supported by YZi Labs (formerly Binance Labs), is offering a 10% reward if the stolen funds are returned, with a deadline of 72 hours. KiloEx has confirmed the breach and identified a vulnerability in its price oracle system as the root cause. The exchange has since halted operations and begun working with blockchain security firms, along with networks such as BNB Chain and Manta Network, to combat further activity by the attacker. KiloEx is also calling on other protocols to blacklist the hacker’s wallet address.
