Smartphone Security Under Threat: New Spyware Targets Messaging Apps

The messages we send on our iPhones and Android smartphones – WhatsApp, Instagram, TikTok, Telegram, and Facebook Messenger – are now facing a serious threat. The U.S. Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) has issued an alert, revealing that cybercriminals are leveraging commercial spyware to target mobile messaging app users worldwide.
