Visa Embraces Stablecoins for Faster Cross-Border Payments in CEMEA

Visa has partnered with Aquanow to expand stablecoin settlement in the Central and Eastern European, Middle Eastern, and African (CEMEA) region. This move aims to reduce cross-border payment costs and enhance efficiency by enabling faster settlements using USDC and other approved stablecoins. The partnership comes as Visa seeks to modernize its money movement system by leveraging digital assets.
