Switzerland Delays Crypto Data Exchange Rules Until 2027

Switzerland’s cryptocurrency exchange rules have been pushed back until 2027, according to reports from Cointelegraph. Initially scheduled for implementation in January 2026, the Crypto-Asset Reporting Framework (CARF) will now be fully established on that date but delayed by at least a year. This delay is due to Switzerland’s tax committee pausing discussions on which partner states it will exchange data with under CARF.
