Bitcoin Community Blasts JPMorgan for Launching Leveraged Bitcoin Notes

Members of the Bitcoin community are accusing JPMorgan Chase of unfairly targeting crypto treasury firms like Strategy and other businesses that hold a significant amount of Bitcoin. This accusation stems from the bank’s announcement of leveraged Bitcoin-backed notes, which provide 1.5x gains or losses by December 2028. This product is set to launch in December 2025, according to an SEC filing.
