Ethereum Increases Block Gas Limit to Reach New All-Time High

Ethereum has set a new record by increasing its block gas limit to 60 million, marking the highest level in four years. This rise signifies a significant advancement in network capacity as it allows for more transactions per block. Over 513,000 validators have signaled support for this higher limit, pushing Ethereum’s mainnet over the threshold needed for a gradual increase in its gas limit.
