Do Kwon’s Sentence in TerraUSD Collapse Case Under Consideration

Do Kwon, co-founder of Terraform Labs, has indicated that his potential sentence for his role in the 2022 TerraUSD stablecoin collapse, which resulted in approximately $40 billion in losses, should not exceed five years. Kwon pleaded guilty to conspiracy and wire fraud charges in August, avoiding a trial. His arrest in Montenegro following accusations of using a fake passport and subsequent extradition to the U.S., where he is facing charges related to the TerraUSD collapse, are part of the legal proceedings.
