ZetaChain Upgrades ZetaClient for Enhanced Cross-Chain Functionality

ZetaChain has unveiled an improved version of its ZetaClient in the wake of UNISON (V36) mainnet execution layer updates. This update introduces multi-deposit and multi-call capabilities to facilitate single cross-chain transactions within Universal Apps, aiming to achieve a block time target of around two seconds.

A key benefit of this upgrade is the elimination of the need for off-chain orchestration for complex cross-chain processes. By automating multi-step, multi-chain contract calls via the Universal EVM, the process becomes more efficient and cost-effective, particularly within Universal DeFi/DEX environments. This also opens doors for integrating AI agents into cross-chain workflows with natural language intents.

Moreover, this update bolsters inbound stability under high load, speeds up key signing processes, and enhances observability. The new version also expands interoperability support with Sui (withdrawAndCall) and Solana (larger payload).
