Aerodrome DEX Attack: Millions Stolen in Major DNS Hijacking

A major DNS hijacking attack has hit Aerodrome, Base’s largest decentralized exchange (DEX), resulting in the loss of over $1 million. While the protocol’s smart contracts remained unaffected, users were targeted with malicious requests for signature and token approval on their funds. The incident highlights vulnerabilities within DeFi infrastructure and the risks posed by such attacks.
