US Banks Can Now Use Crypto for Gas Fees, New Guidance Released

The US banking system is set to become more digital. The OCC has clarified that U.S. banks can now use cryptocurrency to pay blockchain transaction fees under the GENIUS Act, effective November 2025. This means institutions like Ethereum and Bitcoin will be increasingly integrated for these purposes.
