Bitcoin Sees 1.34% Kimchi Premium in South Korea’s Market

On November 19th, Bitcoin (BTC) traded at approximately 135.15 million KRW on South Korea’s Upbit exchange, representing a slight decrease of 1.85% compared to the previous day. This price point suggests a kimchi premium of 1.34%, with global trading platform Binance reflecting BTC at 133.36 million KRW. Ethereum (ETH), the leading cryptocurrency on the altcoin market, recorded a kimchi premium of 1.22%. Other major altcoins also exhibited comparable premiums, ranging from 1.18% for Solana (SOL) to 1.44% for Dogecoin (DOGE). Most of these top altcoins are currently trading at an average premium between 1.1% and 1.4%.
