Edo E-hailing Drivers Increase Fares by 50% Amidst Economic Hardship

E-hailing drivers in Edo state have decided to increase fares by 50 percent of official prices on platforms like Uber and Bolt, according to Edo State Amalgamated Union of App-based Transporters of Nigeria (AUATON) Chairman, Comrade Russell Eghaghe. This decision comes into effect on November 15th and is aimed at improving driver earnings, which have been negatively impacted by dwindling income from the official ride-hailing apps.
