Brazil to Implement New Regulations for Crypto Service Providers

In a move aimed at curbing illicit activities, Brazil’s Central Bank, Banco Central do Brasil, will enforce stricter financial regulations on cryptocurrency service providers starting February 2026. The new rules are designed to improve governance and oversight within the crypto sector, although they could increase operational costs for smaller businesses in the industry.
