CFTC Prepares for Launch of Leveraged Spot Crypto Trading in US

Acting Chair Caroline D. Pham of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) confirmed that negotiations are underway with major U.S. exchanges to launch leveraged spot crypto trading products as early as next month. Despite delays caused by government shutdowns, the CFTC is moving forward on a plan to offer regulated access to these markets.
