Goldman Sachs Forecasts Three Fed Rate Cuts by 2026

Goldman Sachs predicts the Federal Reserve will make three additional interest rate cuts between December 2025 and June 2026. The bank’s research anticipates one rate cut in December 2025, followed by two more reductions throughout the year, bringing the terminal rate to a target of 3-3.25%. This prediction aligns with Goldman Sachs’ previous forecasts about the Fed’s policy actions.
