JPMorgan Doubles Bitcoin ETF Holdings in Q3

Financial giant JPMorgan significantly boosted its investment in the spot Bitcoin ETF during the third quarter, according to regulatory filings. The firm’s holdings in the iShares Bitcoin Trust, managed by BlackRock, climbed notably with an additional 2.07 million shares added to their portfolio. As of September 30th, this brought JPMorgan’s total stake in the trust to 5.28 million shares, valued at roughly $333 million. Notably, this represents a substantial increase from the previous quarter’s holdings of 3.22 million shares, which were worth around $312 million at the end of June, showcasing a significant 64% jump in value.
