UBA Receives Over 3 Million Complaints on Incomplete Transactions in 2024

United Bank for Africa (UBA) has reported receiving a significant number of complaints regarding unsuccessful transactions in 2024, exceeding 3.2 million. This represents a notable increase from the previous year’s 1.9 million complaints and reflects a trend of customer dissatisfaction with transaction processing. Despite the volume of complaints, UBA successfully resolved over 75% of these issues, according to the bank’s 2024 sustainability report on the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NGX). 820,000 customers were able to access refunds for their uncompleted transactions.
