Ethereum Breaks Records With L2 Network Boost

Ethereum has just set a new high water mark for transaction throughput, achieving a staggering 24,192 transactions per second (TPS). This impressive feat is largely thanks to the rise of Layer 2 (L2) networks, specifically L2 Lighter which is handling around 4,000 TPS since its launch. This breakthrough marks a significant advancement in Ethereum’s scalability and signifies a shift towards faster and more affordable transactions.
